Deepak Chandran is the Group Head of Retail Products for Emirates NBD and is responsible for ensuring the bank continues to provide pioneering customer propositions that strengthen its leadership position in liabilities, payments and retail loans. Prior to this role, Deepak led the establishment of "Customer Lifecycle Management" as a pivotal function for the bank’s retail business that helped embed a culture of data driven decision making. He has been associated with Emirates NBD for 15 years +.
Deepak is a seasoned Cards business professional, having worked with Citibank India (1998- 2008) across key business functions including Retail Back Office, Business Planning and Product & Portfolio Management. He holds a Post Graduate Degree in Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur, India and a degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi, India.
