Francisco Valdivia assumed the role of Group Country Manager for Visa Mexico in 2024, following a successful six-year tenure as General Manager for Visa Chile. Under his leadership, Chile achieved sustained growth and became a pioneer in the adoption of contactless payments. Francisco brings deep expertise in the payment technology industry, strong knowledge of the Mexican market, and international experience gained through his leadership in the Southern Cone. Before his role in Chile, Francisco spent 14 years at Visa as a senior business development leader. Francisco holds an Executive MBA, MEDEX, from IPADE Business School and a degree in Economics from Universidad Panamericana.
