Shep Smith is the President of North America at Adyen, where he drives commercial growth and scales the company’s financial technology platform across the region. Prior to his current role, he served as VP of Global Partnerships at Adyen and Chief Operating Officer at Synctera, a banking-as-a-service infrastructure company. Shep also spent a decade at Google, where he led partnerships and go-to-market strategies for foundational products including Google Payments, Android, Chrome, and Maps. He holds a BA in Economics from Wesleyan University and an MBA from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.
