Pedro Rivas has served as General Manager of Mercado Pago Mexico since 2022, where he is leading the company’s evolution into a leading digital bank while expanding financial access for consumers and SMEs. He brings a strong track record of scaling tech-driven platforms, with prior leadership roles at OXIO, MOVO, and Cabify across Latin America and Spain. Pedro began his career at Apple and has also co-founded and successfully exited two food-tech startups. He is an active angel investor, having backed over 20 technology companies and supported startups in raising more than $100 million in funding.
