John Gachora is a seasoned banking, corporate, and investment finance leader with extensive international experience and currently serves as the Group Managing Director of NCBA Group PLC. He has held senior executive roles across corporate and investment banking, including Managing Director and Head of Corporate & Investment Banking for Barclays Africa overseeing 12 countries, CEO of Absa Africa in South Africa, and Managing Director and Head of Financial Engineering at Bank of America in the United States. He holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT and an MBA from the Wharton School, with over a decade of experience driving major financial operations and corporate mergers globally.
