Aigool Khalikova serves as Senior Vice President, Head of Strategy, Strategic Partnerships and Cross Border for Visa in Europe and is a member of the Visa Europe Leadership Team. In her role she is responsible for developing Visa’s strategy in Europe, defining and managing new strategic partnerships and growing Visa’s cross-border business. Her previous roles at Visa included Head of Digital Partnerships, Visa Europe. Prior to joining Visa in 2022 she was a Partner at McKinsey & Company focusing on strategy and improving financial performance of clients in the Financial Institutions, Retail/Consumer and Travel industries, mostly in Europe and Asia. Aigool has also worked in Strategy and International Business Development at the New York Stock Exchange. She holds a B.A. in Economics from Davidson College in North Carolina, US. In her spare time Aigool enjoys running half-marathons, wake-surfing, advising start-ups with a social mission, skiing and travelling.
