Andres is a seasoned design executive with over 25 years of experience successfully leading design organizations, fostering cultures of excellence, effective collaboration, and joy.

He currently leads Global Product Design, which includes the Design Research, Experience Design, and Content Design Teams that work in unison to integrate cutting-edge design into Visa's offerings and the company itself.

In his previous role as Head of Design for Europe, he oversaw a multidisciplinary design team that transformed core product experiences from start to finish, increased the significance of design as a strategic asset, and led the way in changing the company's culture to become more customer obsessed.

Previously he founded Direction, a leading independent boutique digital design agency, with offices in Madrid (Spain) and Birmingham (USA), that helped a series of blue-chip clients from all over the world discover, design, and develop compelling digital products.
